Fake it till you become it

It's not fake it till you make it, but rather fake it till you become it. Loving this phrase from Amy Cuddy - Ted Talk. I am going to summarise her talk for my note-to-self thingy. 

She felt that she was not supposed to be where she at long-long ago. So she said something like she was an imposter, she can't do it and all but someone said to her that she can do it - her superior. She challenged herself to do every talk that she had been asked for eventhough it was nerve-wrecking.

Fast forward, when she had accomplished things that she envisioned for, a girl came and told her the same way that she told her superior years back "I can't do it". That moment hit her - because she was one like that too! But now she had realised that she did not feel like that anymore and she was supposed to be here! The same goes with that girl. She said to the girl "No, you're supposed to be here. You will fake it till you become it. Tomorrow you're gonna come and give your talk, you're gonna fake it, you're gonna make yourself powerful again". The next day, the girl did it and people were amazed! Hooray time!

This reminds me of someone that is always encouraging and had the most beautiful soul ever. I just knew her past few months but she is such an angel with an amazing heart and great wisdom. She's truly my inspiration for now, may God bless her soul and keep on inspiring others. You are really one of a kind, Dr. You are one of my motivations for now ^.^
